Nellis 공군기지에서 출격하는 F-16C과 F-15E 전투기

미국 네바다주 라스베거스에 있는 Nellis 공군기지에서 1월 8일 64 가상적기 비행대 소속 F-16 Fighting Falcon 전투기와 17 무장비행대 소속 F-15E Strike Eagle 전폭기가 임무 비행을 위해 출격하고 있다.

Nellis" 공군기지는 다른 어떤 미 공군 기지보다 군사 학교와 더 많은 편대를 갖추고 있다.
Nellis는 인근의 NTTR (Nevada Test and Training Range)과 관련된 "MOA (Military Operations Area) 공역"에서 다양한 훈련 비행을 할 수 있어 Green Flag-West와 같은 근접 항공 지원 훈련과 Exercise Red Flag와 같은 공중 전투 훈련을 주관하고 있다. 
기지에는 항공 및 우주 작전 센터도 있다.
